Arrival & Departure

When can I check in?
Check-in from 16:00. If you are running late, just let us know — we will work around it.
When do I have to leave?
Check-out by 12:00. If you would like to stay a little longer, simply ask — when nobody follows you, it is usually fine.
How do I get to you?
By car over the Zirler Berg road or from Mittenwald. By train to Seefeld in Tyrol, then bus or taxi to Leutasch. Innsbruck airport is 40 minutes away.
Is there parking?
Yes, free of charge and right at the house. Three spaces each at the chalets and at Landhaus Moritz, one at Wilderer Nest in Mösern.

With a Dog

Are dogs allowed?
In every house, yes. Please tell us how many when you book — then the blanket and bowl are ready.
What does a dog cost?
Per dog per night: Chalets 20 €, Landhaus Moritz 20 €, Nest 18 €. That covers the extra cleaning as well as the blanket and bowl.
Which houses have a fenced garden?
Landhaus Moritz is fenced all round. Of the three chalets, two have a fenced garden — tell us when booking that it matters to you.Everything about holidays with a dog

Getting Here in Detail

By car — which route?
From the north via Mittenwald and Scharnitz, or straight along the Leutascher Strasse. From the south via Zirl and the Zirler Berg road to Seefeld, then on to Leutasch. Both roads are cleared all year.
Do I need a motorway vignette?
For the approach on the Inntal motorway, yes. Coming via Mittenwald needs none. The Zirler Berg road is toll-free but steep — closed to caravans.
Winter tyres?
From 1 November to 15 April Austria requires winter tyres as conditions demand. Leutasch sits at 1,136 metres and often has snow when the Inn valley below has none. Come on winter tyres.
By train?
To Seefeld in Tyrol, the nearest station on the Mittenwald line. From there by bus to Leutasch or Mösern, or by taxi. Let us know if you are travelling without a car.
By plane?
Innsbruck is 40 minutes away, Munich around two hours. The bus from Innsbruck airport runs via Seefeld.

With Children

Are there cots and high chairs?
A travel cot and a high chair are available on request. Tell us when you book and both will be waiting when you arrive.
Is the area good for children?
In Leutasch there are walking paths along the Ache and around Lake Weidachsee. In the Gaistal valley selected wide paths work with a pram; check the route and the surface beforehand. At the Katzenkopf there is a bike park with a practice area.
Do children count as guests?
Yes, for occupancy they do. How they affect the price is shown by the availability search for your dates.

Price & Payment

What makes up the price?
The nights, the final cleaning, the local tourist tax and — if a dog comes along — the dog fee. You see the full amount before you book.
How much do I pay up front?
40 per cent of the total when you book, the rest before you arrive.
How can I pay?
By bank transfer, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Klarna — and by card: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club.
Is there a deposit?
No. We do not ask for a security deposit.
Is it cheaper here than on a booking portal?
Yes. Booking portals take 12 to 18 per cent commission, Airbnb 15.5. Best-price clauses have been banned in Austria since 2017 — we are allowed to be cheaper on our own site, and we are.Why booking direct is cheaper

Cancellation

Can I cancel free of charge?
With the cancellable rate there are no fees up to 3 months before arrival. For other rates the conditions shown at selection apply.
And after that?
With the cancellable rate the scale from our terms then applies: 30 per cent up to ten weeks before arrival, 70 per cent up to four weeks before, 90 per cent after that. If you do not arrive without cancelling, 100 per cent. The terms in full

What is in the kitchen?
Everything you need to cook: hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine, crockery and pots for a full house. Basics such as salt and oil are there; the rest you bring or buy in the village.
