About Wilderer

Your house. A direct line to us.

Chalets, a farmhouse and an apartment in Leutasch and Mösern. You have the place to yourselves and reach us directly when you need something.

Four houses, one standard

What is the same everywhere.

The whole house
A chalet, a holiday house or an apartment to yourselves. Your own key, your own garden or balcony. You will see us when you arrive if you want to — and after that only if something comes up.
Dogs welcome
With a blanket and a bowl in the chalets, in Landhaus Moritz and in the Wilderer Nest. Rothirsch, Gamsbock and Moritz have a fully fenced garden.
No portal in between
You book with us and you write to us. Your questions about the house, the journey or your dog reach the hosts directly.
Price before you book
Final cleaning, local tax and the dog fee are in the total before you book. Nothing is added at the end.

How we let our houses

Whole houses, not rooms.

What you get

A house or an apartment to yourselves, with its own entrance. Bed linen and towels are ready, and the final cleaning is included in the total price shown. The chalets have a gas fireplace; Landhaus Moritz has a wood-burning stove.

If you like, we will show you when you arrive how the heating works and where everything is. If you would rather have your peace straight away, that is fine too.

What you do not get

No reception, no corridor, no breakfast room, no room cleaning during your stay. No entertainment programme and no spa area shared by twenty other parties.

This is not about cutting costs. It is a decision about what a stay here should be: your house for a few days, not a number in an operation.

Why book direct

On our site you can compare the accommodation available for your dates. The total price and the terms of the rate you choose are fixed before anything becomes binding.

The second reason is more mundane: you are writing to the people who own the houses. If you arrive late, need a cot or are bringing two dogs, you settle it in one message instead of through a form.

The mark

Eagle, antler, mountain.

The eagle grips the shed antler, clear and visible. Above it the mountain ridge as the outline of the shield. All four houses carry the same crest — what changes is the house name and its pair of colours.

That is the whole system: one mark, one wordmark, one clear house name. One umbrella brand, four houses, one family.

The family

Four atmospheres, one shared foundation.

  • Wilderer Chalets

    Embers & shelter

Embers make shelter visible. Sitting by the fire, a glass of red wine in hand, a wool blanket over your knees — the chalets carry that deep, quiet warmth in their wood and their colours.

  • Wilderer Hof

    Morning at the farmstead

The morning begins on wood and stone. The first sun lies on the mountains, the fence and the weathered timber — a quiet, down-to-earth moment, and a new Wilderer place is growing out of it.

  • Wilderer Landhaus Moritz

    A house that remembers

Patina makes memory visible. Sun-bleached wood, stone and lived-in surfaces tell you about the years the house has seen.

  • Wilderer Nest

    First morning in the Nest

Your first look falls into the quiet valley. From the bed, the plateau lies in the first morning light, mist standing between the mountains — calm, wide and entirely its own.

Frequently asked

Why we do it this way.

Why four houses and not one?
Because a group of eight lives differently from a couple. The chalets take up to eight people, the country house six, the apartment two. Instead of building one house that half suits everyone, there are four, and one of them suits you properly.
Why do they have different names?
Because they are different. What connects them is the mark and the standard — not the furnishings. Each house has its own colour in the brand system; the crest stays the same.
Why no reception?
Because we are not running a hotel. You get the key, a walk-through if you want one, and after that a phone number where someone actually answers.
Why no breakfast?
Because every house has a full kitchen. If you would rather not cook, there are bakeries and restaurants in the village — we will tell you which ones.
