The rules

Short, and no small print.

Home alone
If your dog is used to being left alone, that is fine. Please not on the terrace and not barking — the neighbours live here all year.
Outdoors
Please follow the local lead rules and the signs along the paths. On alpine pastures keep your distance from grazing animals and keep the dog on the lead.

Frequently asked

Questions about dogs

How many dogs can I bring?
Up to two, more by arrangement. Please state the number when booking — the search has its own field for it.
What does a dog cost?
In the chalets and at Landhaus Moritz 20 euros per night, at Wilderer Nest 18 euros. That covers the extra cleaning as well as the blanket and bowl.
Is the dog allowed on the sofa and in the bedroom?
On the sofa yes, if you put a blanket over it — one is ready for you. In the bed please not.
Is the dog allowed into the Leutascher Geisterklamm gorge?
Dogs are not allowed on the walkways of the gorge itself — the operator permits only the short gorge loop and part of the forest track. Honestly: the better dog walks start right outside the door anyway, along the Ache and in the Gaistal.
